Some of the links on TopPredictions are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and sign up for a platform, we may receive a commission from that platform. This commission is paid by the platform, not by you - you pay nothing extra.

Affiliate relationships are a standard way for independent review sites to fund their editorial work. Without this revenue, we would not be able to maintain this site, write detailed reviews, or keep our comparisons up to date.

How We Identify Affiliate Links

All affiliate links on TopPredictions use the rel="sponsored" HTML attribute, which is the standard way to disclose sponsored links to search engines and browsers. You can inspect any link on this site to verify its sponsorship status.

Links labelled "Visit [Platform]", "Start Trading", or similar calls-to-action are typically affiliate links.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

Having affiliate relationships with platforms does not affect our ratings, rankings, or editorial content. Our commitment to independence means:

• Ratings and scores are determined solely by our research and user feedback - platforms cannot pay for higher ratings
• We include honest cons and criticisms for every platform we review, including those we have affiliate relationships with
• We review platforms we have no affiliate relationship with (e.g. Metaculus, Iowa Electronic Markets) on the same basis as affiliated platforms
• If a platform's quality deteriorates, we update our reviews and ratings accordingly, regardless of commercial impact
• Our "Best Overall" and "#1" designations are based on ratings and research, not commercial agreements

Any link labelled "Visit [Platform]", "Start Trading", "Get Started", or similar calls-to-action may be an affiliate link. All affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" HTML attribute, and each review page includes an inline disclosure near every affiliate call-to-action button.

We maintain affiliate relationships with a number of prediction market platforms. These arrangements change over time as new platforms launch and existing relationships evolve. Rather than maintain a named list that can quickly become outdated, we disclose affiliate status at the point of use.
