Futuur4.1

Global play-money + real-money markets

CryptoPlay-moneyLight KYC

Futuur runs two modes in one platform: a completely free play-money mode and a real-money crypto mode. That makes it one of the gentlest on-ramps around — you can learn the mechanics with no money down, then switch to real stakes when you're ready.

It covers sports, politics, economics, crypto, entertainment, and culture, with markets open around the world. Licensed in Curaçao, Futuur operates outside both US and EU jurisdictions, which makes it accessible to traders in Latin America and other global markets who may not qualify for Kalshi or Polymarket.

Play-money markets use Futuur's virtual currency (OOM), while real-money markets settle in crypto. The interface is modern and mobile-first, keeping both modes feel equally polished. Futuur's global reach and zero-barrier free mode make it a natural first stop for anyone curious about prediction markets.

How Futuur works

Futuur uses a market-maker model where each question has two outcomes — Yes and No — with prices that reflect the crowd's implied probability. A Yes contract priced at $0.60 means the market assigns a 60% chance to that outcome. If you hold the contract to resolution and it settles correctly, you receive $1.00 per contract.

In the play-money mode the mechanics are identical but all figures are denominated in OOM, Futuur's virtual currency. This lets beginners practice reading markets, sizing positions, and tracking results without financial exposure. When a real-money market resolves, winnings are paid out instantly in crypto.

Futuur FAQ

Is Futuur legit and safe?

Futuur holds a Curaçao gaming license, separates customer funds, and has operated without major incidents since launch. It is a legitimate platform, though it is not regulated to the same standard as CFTC-licensed Kalshi.

Is Futuur real money?

It offers both. The play-money mode uses virtual OOM coins with no financial value. The real-money mode uses crypto — you deposit and withdraw actual cryptocurrency, so winnings are real.

Does Futuur work outside the US?

Yes. Futuur is specifically designed for global access including Latin America and Europe. It does not currently accept US residents for real-money trading.

What are Futuur's fees?

The play-money mode is completely free. The real-money mode charges a small commission on net winnings; no fee applies to deposits.

Do I need crypto to use Futuur?

Only for real-money trading. The free play-money mode requires no crypto or payment method at all — you get virtual coins just by signing up.

Verdict

Futuur's dual play/real mode makes it uniquely accessible: complete beginners can learn the mechanics for free, while more experienced traders can deploy real crypto across a genuinely diverse market catalogue. The Curaçao license and global reach fill a gap that US-only or EU-only platforms leave open. The main trade-offs are less liquidity than Polymarket and no US access for real-money mode.
